Murray Larkins BSc Eng MBA
Over the 25 years Murray has worked as a
professional, he has come to believe the
combination of business, technical, and people
skills are critical to making companies work.
In the early years, time on drilling rigs taught
Murray that when you’re covered in mud on a
minus 40-degree winter evening and you’re
responsible to get things done by the time the
sun comes up, you’ve got to lead your team to
shared goals. While an engineering degree and an
MBA came later, Murray attributes much of his
success to those early days.
Murray started his professional life as an
engineer working in energy and then moved to the
financial sector as a financial analyst
specializing in mergers and acquisitions.
Information technology was exploding at the time
and Murray made the decision to spend a decade
working with and leading several start-ups and
established companies.
Clients value Murray’s expertise and innovative
thinking, but they keep him close because of the
character and integrity he models in every
aspect of his work. These qualities, coupled
with a deep belief in people and their
potential, are hallmarks of a professional that
